Ally Sheedy

Alexandra Elizabeth Sheedy is an American actor. She was born on June 13th in 1962. Following her debut movie in 1983, Bad Boys, Sheedy became one of the Brat group of actors. She starred in WarGames (1983) The Breakfast Club (1985), Short Circuit (1986) and WarGames. Sheedy was awarded an Independent Spirit Award Best Female Actress for her part in Lisa Cholodenko's High Art (1998). Ally Sheedy is an American actor and author. She started her film career beginning in the early 1980s, with the film based on a crime drama Bad Boys, for which she was rewarded with a great deal of praise. In the film, which was directed by Rick Rosenthal, other well-known actors like Sean Penn Esai Morales Clancy Brown and Alan Ruck also appeared. Her first success led her to appear in The Breakfast Club, a comedy-drama in 1985. The film was written and directed by John Hughes is considered one among the most memorable high school films of all time. Although the film's budget was only $1 million it made more than $50 million in profits. In the meantime she started appearing on TV in various shows such as CBS Schoolbreak. It was her first TV appearance. In April of 1980, the show was first aired. It was intended for teenagers. She also appeared on other shows on TV, including Chicago Story Big City Samuels and the Kid as well as Hill Street Blues. In Little Sister she makes a guest appearance. She also appears in X-Men Apocalypse a superhero film in which her role is a brief cameo. Her amazing performance has earned her numerous awards including her MTV Movie Award of Silver Bucket of Excellence Award.
